Belgian made (circa 1920's), 29 1/2in. Siemens-steel nitro barrels with concave ornately file cut top-rib, gold-inlaid '1' at the breech end, the tubes engraved 'JOSEF STAVINOHA. WIEN. IX. HÖRLGASSE 6', the underside marked 'ACIER SPÉCIAL MARTIN SIEMENS BELGE LLH', 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. choke in both, treble-grip action with hidden third bite and removable striker discs, side-clips, toplever (return spring at fault) gold-inlaid '1', manual safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE' detail, conversion to single trigger (slightly bent), with barrel selector rod passing through and protruding from the lockplates, triggerguard with repaired and partially replaced tang, fine border and bold acanthus scroll engraving, the lockplates with scrolling banners engraved 'J. STAVINOHA WIEN', the triggerguard carved in relief with a monogram, 14in. replacement pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, pistolgrip-cap and buttplate, sling swivel removed, weight 6lb. 9oz.
